Copy Line

Advertising copy lines are short, often memorable phrases used in advertising campaigns. They are claimed to be the most effective means of drawing attention to one or more aspects of a product. A strapline is a British term used as a secondary sentence attached to a brand name. Its purpose is to emphasize a phrase that the company wishes to be remembered by, particularly for marketing a specific corporate image or connection to a product or consumer base.

How to wirte a copy line?

A good copy line usually states the main benefits of the product or the brand for the potential user or buyer. It should be simple and direct and easy to read.

The copy line could be a statement, commend or also a question.

The copy line should give the consumera credible impression of the product or the brand and make them feel good, desire or need.

Often the advert goes with images to make it more interesting and rememberable for the consumer but there are also lots of adverts without images. An important point is to catch the consumer's eyes and make them interestend in your product or brand.
